And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“The San Francisco Electric Tour Company is an excellent combination of informational tourism and fun times riding and becoming friends with your tour guide and fellow guests. The tours are of substantial length, instruction for the segways is clear and easy once you get the hang of it. The entire process is handled with wonderful professionalism and friendliness. I know I'll be back again soon, and I highly recommend this company to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of working with them.”

“This by far was one of the best things we did in San Francisco during our week long stay. We enjoyed Cam our guide and I like how they took pictures during the tour and then did not expect you to pay an arm and a leg for the photos. They just uploaded them to facebook and off you went with them. Cam even took time to take our personal cell phones at the pier and took photos as well.”

“Great in every way. The segways were so much fun, the guide was funny and informative with lots of facts not mentioned in other tours. The route we took had plenty of things to see, and the midway stop for a break and icecream was most welcome. Would definitely recommend to all, young or old.”

“Excellent Segway tour. A bit apprehensive to start with as I've never been on a Segway before but after the thorough and friendly training session, confidence was high. The operating of the Segway became second nature and the tour itself was excellent carried out by the wonderful "Devon" from Devon.”

“This company is the one to use for a segway tour of SF! My 14 year old son and I toured the wharf and surrounding area and it was fantastic. They take safety seriously and we felt well prepared when it was time to ride through the streets of SF. It was so much fun! We feel like segway experts and will definitely seek out other segway tours. Our guide, Stefan was enthusiastic and made it very enjoyable.”
