Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“Even on a super crowded 4th of July holiday, the staff did an excellent job keeping the tour going and interesting. Cameron was interesting and engaging, aware of our safety and surroundings at all times, and upbeat. The traffic was horrible, so be aware during times when the Wharf is packed, but he kept it interesting and positive. This was the highlight of our vacation! The tips about clothing were spot on, needed our hats and jackets, my scarf was a bonus. Being able to get our pictures off Facebook at the end was super! Thanks again staff, excellent job!”

“It was clear from the start that they take training & safety very seriously. This was important to me as I had my 2 kids along on the tour and SF is a busy city. Alan was a very informative guide (and had an arsenal of corny jokes). But what i appreciated most was when he saw my daughter struggling with the braking he immediately paused the tour to give her another tutorial & moved her to the front of the tour group in order to better monitor her progress. You rock Alan!”

“Great tour. Lots of fun. If you've never ridden a Segway before, it is easy to learn. San Francisco is a great place to do a Segway tour because you go up and down the hills with ease!”

“Very, very fun experience! It was my first ride on a Segway, and it was just as fun and intuitive as I had hoped for. After a short ride I felt like a master. The staff was both professional and relaxed and made our group feel safe and created a light hearted atmosphere. Although the Segway ride was the main focus, we also got a nice little insight of the area we toured in by our guide. If you are going to San Francisco for the first time, I would recommend the Electric Tour Company on top of your To Do list. Worth every buck.”
