Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“We chose the San Francisco Electric Tour Company for our Segway tour of San Fran and we are so glad we did! Our tour guide MAREE was outstanding. She knew her stuff so incredibly well and kept the entire tour engaged with her knowledge and humour the entire tour. I would and have strongly recommended this tour company to fellow friends and colleagues from Australia based on the service we received from Maree, the safety procedures and the amount of fun we had. We did see other Segway tour company's throughout San Francisco and noted that no one had smiles on their faces. Not only were my family and I smiling we were laughing and had the most incredible experience without compromising our safety.”

“We really enjoyed the Segway tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I had never rode a Segway before and actually found it to be quite easy after the lesson. Would highly recommend this activity.”

“very aspect from registration, to instruction on use and safety, to the tour was first rate. Our instructor and guide AG was outstanding. She interacted well with her team, making sure we were comfortable before we left. AG constantly kept track of her flock, explaining where to ride for our safety. Her narration gave us insight to San Fran we might not have gained elsewhere. The 2 1/2 hours went by more quickly than expected! All in all a wonderful experience that should enjoyed by all.”
