The staff at SF Segway was very professional and enthusiastic. The process of purchasing the tickets online and getting to the departure point was easy. The tour guide was very professional and energetic.

We have already told at least a couple dozen people about what a great time we had on the SF waterfront segway tour. We had taken segway tours in Long Beach and most recently in D.C. and this was by far the best one yet. The tour guides were exceptional and very friendly (and funny). They knew the standard tour and tourist info and also added a little flair with some humor and just having fun - which made things enjoyable for everyone in our group. Our guide was a professional actor from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and his communication skills were very good - even tactfully handling an overly inquisitive tourist who stopped him in traffic along the wharf to ask detailed instructions, etc. This tour was entirely enjoyable and we have already said that we will make this a regular event on future visits to San Francisco - and I want to bring the kids and eventually the grandkids. The segways have improved tremendously since their original versions 20+ years back - and the new touring ones we rode were incredibly easy to ride and to fall or wreck on one of them would be pretty difficult given the way that balance and self-correct for speed and alignment. Even going down one of the steep hills was a breeze --- I was amazed at how skilled and confident I felt after just minutes on the Segway. I've had two previous tours in other cities, but there were several first-timers in our group (including two 65+ years) who were just as confident and comfortable as I was after the training movie and segway skillls session. The only 'iffy' aspect of the tour had to do with tourist traffic and nothing to do with the tour at all. Just like the pedestrians, you are always subject to the crazy 'tourist' drivers who are paying more attention to the sights, cell phones, etc. than the road ---but that's par for the course in any city - and at least on the Segway, I have more protection in front than I would just walking on foot --- fortunately the drivers were all doing pretty good --- even in heavy traffic. I like the idea of bicycling through the city, but personally ---- the SEGWAY is so fun and comfortable --- it's the closest thing to just drifting along on an effortless cloud that I can think of. Sometimes it just feels intuitive - the Segway just goes where I look and moves in whichever direction I anticipate. Whooooohoooo ! definitely want to do this again!!!!!!

Great tour! We did the nighttime tour which was a great way to see the sights all lit up for night. Our guide did a great job with some fun facts about the area we were seeing. Our guide Liz was fantastic and kept our group entertained.
