Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“We booked this activity as part of a 16th birthday trip for our grandson. He was thrilled! After the trip, of the ~10 activities we lined up, he ranked the SF Electric Tour Company as #2, only behind the mountain biking tour because he is an avid biker. A wonderful feature is we (his 65 year old grandparents) took the tour with him and enjoyed it just as much!”

“SF has such rich history. While you may be a casual visitor, you will be fascinated with the details of this great city. As an SF native, our guide Cory, taught me a few things. How cool is that! Reserving online saved our trip when the printed tickets were lost enroute. It's a long story! I had my 13yr old grandaughter in our group, they took the training time she needed to be comfortable. This is a very family friendly activity, and a great way to see the city. We had soooo much fun!!! It's a wee-bit of a challenge, but very do-able. Cheers! Karen”

“One of us was age 71, the other age 84 -- well over the recommended age for this tour. Yet both of us enjoyed it tremendously, having no difficulties at all. So don't let your age deter you if you are physically fit. The staff was wonderful and the training made us feel confident. It was great fun!”
