About San Francisco Electric Tour Co Segway Tours and Events :

Come glide with us, the original San Francisco Segway Tour company! Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

My third tour with San Francisco Electric Tour Company. What better review than repeat business?

We had a great time tooling around the streets of SF, learning to operate the machines, and having our freestyle time at the end. As natives, for us it was about trying Segways, and we had plenty of time to figure that out in a safe way. The historical information was often woefully off, but it's still a great way to see some sights while having fun in a pack of dorks in matching helmets. We loved it.

Just riding a Segway was a long-term wish come true...and then to tour San Francisco in the process--it was perfect. My wife had a little mishap on her Segway resulting in sprained ankle. The Segways are not difficult to operate but they are sensitive and they deserve your full attention. In all, we loved it and would do it again!

It was my first time in San Fran and we had a great tour and had a blast in a short period of time. I would definitely go on another tour.

Without doubt worth the price paid, I am not a "led tour" kind of guy but this had a good balance of interesting detail about San Francisco and the experience of segway navigation - Chelsea our tour guide gave a well paced and interesting tour and showed a high level of attention to the care and safety of her guests, Her good humor and subtle guidance made the experience all the better.
