This tour couldn't have been more fun! We had an excellent guide (Chris). Despite being a native San Franciscan, I learned a lot from Chris' narration about the history of our tour path. If you've never ridden a segway before, try it, you'll love it! Would we segway again? In a heartbeat!!! This was our third segway excursion in a year!

A Segway is a great way to tour and get highlights of what the city has to offer. I felt the tour guides adjusted the tour to accomodate the comfort and skill level of the participants. The group was split in two, and although one group had individuals who were not comfortable on the Segway, that did not hold up our group. The guides split the groups and we were allowed to move ahead and not be held back.

The Segways themselves are a very special experience - they respond to your slightest shift in balance - extremely responsive. I loved the free time on the Horseshoe dock to learn more about how to use it before we headed out into traffic. The tour guide was funny and informative - she was like a mother duck with her ducklings once we did finally get out into the city itself. The only comment I would have is that I got the impression that the last 30 minutes or so were time-wasting minutes (that's the only way I can describe it). She led us around the docks, by the fish houses, here and there without much direction. But really that is a minimal comment and not meant as a criticism. This tour was the best tour by far that I have ever taken!

Excellent tour. Will definitely find Segway tours in other cities I visit.

The Segway is amazingly good fun. The price you pay for the ticket isn't your total cost (consider a decent tip for your guide.)

It was our first experienced and we will likely rent again somewhere. The pricepoint was reasonable but much higher we would have opted out. We have already talked to atleast 20 people about this event. 5 of which were in San Francisco and sounding like they would go. Keep up the good work.

You MUST take this tour. It was one of the most enjoyable adventures I have ever had on vacation. Worth every penny. I took my 16 year old son (who did not think it would be fun) and he had a blast. After a brief training session we took off and the Segway was so intuitive that it became part of your body. So easy and fun. The guide was funny and instructive about SF history. We motored along about 10 mph along the wharf and city streets very safely. As our guide said, this is the only tourist attraction where WE became a tourist attraction. Dress warm (they do provide jackets and gloves) and wear sneakers. I am recommending this tour to everyone, including the concierge of our hotel.
