Our tours are fun, informative, and include thorough Segway rider training (in 11 languages!) before departure so you can be gliding through the city in no time. And you won’t miss a word of our tour guides’ entertaining narration because every guest gets a radio receiver and earbuds. San Francisco is full of awesome views and remarkable stories, and a Segway tour is the best way to enjoy both! We offer 1.5 and 2.5 hour fully-guided and narrated Segway tours of the waterfront, North Beach, Chinatown, and Golden Gate Park. Choose from 7 breathtaking routes with frequent daily and evening departures. Every tour leaves from one of two convenient start locations: Fisherman's Wharf or Golden Gate Park. Segway riders must be over age 12 and weigh between 100-250 lbs (45-113kg).

“I live in San Francisco but this is a "must" for visitors; I took the Golden Gate Park tour and you get to see parts of the Park that you can only see on a Segway or a walk. What an absolutely fun experience with a group of out-of-town family and friends. Looking forward to a repeat performance.”

“The Segways were easier than expected to learn to ride. The staff that was training the new riders made us feel comfortable and gave us a thorough training. Everyone from young to old did a great job navigating the Segways and our tour guides helped in any way that they could. I would recommend San Francisco Electric Tour Company and hope use their services again soon to tour other sections of the city.”

“The four of us loved our guide, Trisha. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, safe, and humorous. The training staff was excellent and we felt confident in our abilities to navigate when the tour started.”

“I have lived in Marin County for 50 years, but only got to Golden Gate Park two or three times. I had no idea of the history of the park until I took this tour. The guides involved were VERY helpful for my friend who was very close to the weight limit and had already assumed she could not go. They sold us a ticket on the spot and she was able to join me and her nephew for a great time. They had to save a long time for this trip and may never get to ride a Segway again, so this was a real treat.”

“The guides were truly excellent at technically training us and keeping us safe. I had a hard time figuring it out at first. They had extra staff available at the training to help those of us who were a little slow to figure it out. Some of the staff were fun, they were all professional and courteous. The places we visited were beautiful and sometimes surprising.”
