Golden Gate Segway tour was a fun and different outing. While none of our group of four had Segway experience, the training relieved any initial nervousness we may have had and gave us the skills to easily operate the machine and enjoy our two hour tour. Just riding the Segway was worth the experience, so getting to see the park from a little different perspective was an enjoyable bonus. We're all happy to have shared the experience.

What a great experience! Just trying the segway was enough but the tour and scenery were an added bonus.

This Segway tour was executed 'as advertised' in every respect. The tour was excellent and good value for money. My wife and I did the SFBotanic Gardens tour and found it very safe, with excellent commentary and a personable and friendly guide. The radio headphones were a bonus and added interest to our tour. Finally, we very much enjoyed the approach and quirky sense of humour of our guide, Devin, his friendly and supportive style is well suited to both genders. We have 'Sedwayed' in three other international cities and would rate this tour company the best. We will be back. Equipment was modern and well maintained, with helmets for all riders.

We had a great time on our Segway tour. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. We got to see and learn quite a bit on the tour of Golden Gate Park but were a bit disappointed that it did not take us to the bison pastures.the set ways were pretty old and worn but still worked. Overall, it was a fun activity.

We had stumbled across another group doing a Segway tour and my daughter asked if we could do that too. I made a phone call and we were all set. I noodle knees when I first stepped up onto the Segway to do training. I was pretty nervous about possibly doing a face plant and ending our vacation. After going over and around a few obstacles, going as fast as we could then doing an abrupt stop, etc I realized this was safe and easy. That's when they removed the governor setting that only allowed me to go 5MPH and said "let's roll"! We started off on paved streets and got very comfortable. Sometimes I'd lag behind just so I could try to catch up (pushing it to 10MPH). When we got to an off-road trail that was pretty steep downhill grade, I suspected some poor ambulance crew was going to have to carry my fat carcass back to the main road. However, the Segway (itself) just applied the breaks auto-magically, and forced me to lean back. It was AMAZINGLY intuitive!!! Short of intentionally aiming for a tree, I don't think I could have crashed the thing. So although I was very nervous at first, I was pushing the Segway to the limits by the end of the tour. Then, there's Brook, our guide. As we zipped from place to place, she was using a radio to explain the history behind everything on our tour. She kept us very entertained, paused for pictures, etc. We were in San Fran for a week doing the tourist thing about 18 hours each day on average, sparing no expenses. Most of the things we did were planned out and purchased in advance but the Segway tour was added spur of the moment (although we did have to wait for availability). At the end of the week, we all agreed the Segway tour was the most enjoyable and memorable part of the vacation!
