I thought the segway tour of Golden Gate Park was an excellent way to experience the park. The tour guides are very friendly and ensure that everyone in the group felt as comfortable as possible on the segway before setting off, and skillfully navigated through the park. Kristin, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed this experience.

We loved every minute of the tour. We saw places in the park that we had never seen before and it was informative and interesting to hear little pieces of info about everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone. One surprise was what standing in one spot for an extended period of time ( on the Segway foot pad) makes your feet sore after awhile. Taking the break and walking around the Aids Memorial solved the problem.
