My 3 daughters and I had a great time on the "Hills" of San Francisco segway tour! We will do it again on our next trip and would highly recommend it to our family and friends. I'm glad we did the Golden Gate Park tour before doing the "Hills" tour. Having had a day of learning prior to doing "Hills" was very important, especially for the 53 year old mom! We saw parts of San Francisco that offered the best views of the city I've ever seen. LOVED IT!!!

Went on the Advanced Hills tour, all over, approx ten miles is covered. Up to Nob Hill, Coit Tower, all over North Beach and of course Lombard Street. Brandon was our guide, great humoredyoungman, full of facts about SF. Training is quite adequate, I highly recommend a Segwaytour as a great way to see" the streets of San Francisco". I enjoyed it so much, I immediately booked a Segway Golden Gate Park tour two days later, and our guide for that was Ady, who was exceptionally entertaining and fun to be led by. Again, I learned many facts about the park I did not know. It's hard to believe that entire park was planted by hand and that it originally was a sand flat....talk about hard work. Anyway, Everytime I am on a Segway, I want one, they are so fun. I will never travel to SF without doing atleastone tour with them .....they are a great group of people. AND, they take pictures of the whole thing and you can access, and download them FOR FREE. Attended a SF Giants game, where they took your picture( and I said, " is this free." And was told it was. Went to the site, only to find they charge $ 29.95 to DOWNLOAD that " free" picture. So Segway has it over the SF Giants, like they need more $$. Highly recommend a SF Segway tour......don't miss it!

We took the advance Segway tour since we had previous experience in riding a Segway. Ellen (our guide) was very nice and full of information and facts on the city and the areas we toured. The tour itself was very enjoyable and we would highly recommend it to those Segway enthusiasts that want to see the city. Forget walking to see the sights, take a Segway tour!! We believe it's the only way to see the sights.

This is the only tour I've done in San Francisco but if you've ridden a segway before, I think the advanced hill climb is the tour of choice as there is some overlap in the other tours except for the golden gate park tour which I've considered. Interestingly, I didn't feel any insecurities or safety issues traversing up and down the steep hills like I do when driving up or down them. The rider is in complete control. The segway never lost one power bar for the entire tour and thus, the tour is the same length as the less stressing tours offered. Keep in mind that the segways have no suspension, so you'll want to plan the bumps ahead to lessen the shock and bend your knees to cushion the impact. You'll get a lot of information on the tour and suggestions for restaurants and places to visit later. It was great in most respects and I look forward to doing it again.

We had a great time. The Segways were fun and easy to use, and a wonderful way to see the city. We took the night tour and had so much fun we took the advanced tour a few days later! That tour was great also. The staff was so fun and helpful, we highly recommend you chose this company on your next visit to San Francisco!

Two if us had radios that did not transmit so we couldn't hear most of the tour guide. He switched ear plugs at one point but it didn't help.
