“Based on the excellent quality of my previous purchases of Prym products I bought a Prym 100 inch tape measure from this supplier. I was so saddened to see it was made in China. The quality of the fibreglass is very poor, the printing on the metric side smudged and the fibreglass a lot thinner and flimsier than their standard 60 inch tape measure (made in Germany). And no brand stamp! The metal tags on the end of the tape are scratched. I also wanted to buy swatches of the fabrics on their website, but was told they don't supply them (ergo, must have something to hide!). So I concluded all of the stock must also be standard shabby PRC poor rip-off quality. I'll not be buying from here again.”
We get ALL of our Prym products from the Authorised Australian importer, and I have just had a look at these tapes, and it does state on the packaging that they are made in China, but without opening a packet I cannot confirm if they are smudged (though from what you can see from the outside of the packaging they look fine). I will forward this review on to Prym, so that they have your feedback on this tape measure.
At JM we only sell quality brand products, and it is offensive to us for a "Anonymous" poster to put this type of review, but that is ok, we know our products are quality.
