“Like virtually everything. The one bad point with Genos 2 (sadly as all yamaha keyboards) is the very high noise level of all keys on release after playing the note. This is a very annoying problem which is particularly noticeable when playing piano and classical guitar voices and styles. Just can't accept that this cannot be properly resolved by Yamaha.”

Thanks Mr Benbow- It's a really tricky one, as the movement of mechanisms on most keyboards do make some noise, but like all real pianos- their sound disguises this mechanical sound. And of course, you can't turn the volume of a real piano down to hear it. When playing a keyboard or digital piano quieter, the sound of the key action will always be more noticeable. “The sounds there is nothing not to like on the Genos , what I like is you can add sounds packs to it , I had a clavinova before the Genos ,I didn’t think the clavinova is as versatile as the Genos , and there are some great tutorials on YouTube , regarding the Genos”

“Fantastic sound and great features enable songs to be played and enjoyed. The keyboard is set out well and the many easy styles and registrations make a great base to work on your own arrangements of songs. This is certainly not an instrument that you will get board ewith in years to come”
