“I bought a an Equiderma kit containing shampoo, lotion and zinc oxide for my horse who is suffering from photo activated vasculitis. The first kit arrived and I saw a small improvement while using the products. I reordered another kit. When the second order came in the zinc oxide looked nothing like it did in the first kit. Both the color and texture were completely different from the first kit. Looks like a lack of quality control. I took photos of the to side by side to show the company and ask for an explanation. I called the company twice and reachef a voice mail twice. I left 2 messages for them to call me about the products, but they never called back. I think it's great that the owner is concerned about horse rescue and is donating a portion of sales for that cause. But they need to remember that first you have to provide good customer service or your customers will purchase products elsewhere.”
“I have been working on scratches every day for 10 months. I bought Sox, meds from 2 different vets, home remedies, all to no avail. My horse is immune suppressed with 4 white socks and scratches all the way up to his hocks. I have shampood twice now with Equiderma and was amazed at how the shampoo descaled. The creme stays on even through heavy rain with a horse on pasture board. After 3 days, it is looking much better but still have a way to go. “I bought Zinc Oxide Paste to treat scratches. When my order arrived, the material had the consistency of syrup, not paste, making it very difficult to administer. The material drooled off the wound and down my horses' hooves.. They had some relief from the medication but not the result that could have occurred had the medication clung to the pastern.
I'm ordering it again, hoping this was an unusual circumstance brought on by improper storage, etc. Everyone deserves a second chance, but at this price, that's all you'll get.”
