“I use this along with the equiderma skin lotion and it is fantastic at getting rid of scratches. I treated my horse who is a TB and a friends horse who was a lot worse off than mine was. She was missing hair on all of her hocks and it was raw before I used your product. They were free of scratches in less than a week and hair has grown back. I used chlorahexadine wash first, then applied the skin lotion and then the zinc oxide. The lotion really helped with the adherence of the zinc oxide and it made it more spreadable. “I have been using this product on my Spotted Draft for scratches and it does dry them up well. Like another reviewer has mentioned, my only issue is that it is a little difficult to apply as the product isn’t a paste or cream. I really mix it prior to use but it still separates making it hard to apply. Otherwise, it’s great!”
