This item worked magic, even though I was skeptical at first. Used it for rain rot.

I got it for scratches. It just absolutely inflamed the area and where ever it touched.

Omg I love the Equiderma Skin lotion, my horse gets face and cannon bone crud, tried so many products and am so grateful to have found something that works, is easy to apply and gentle to his skin. Thank you for a fantastic product.

I used this lotion on my QH gelding’s various ‘irritated’ spots on his neck, belly, and legs - and am pleased with its performance! I applied it to affected areas every 2 days for about a week, and they are now no longer irritated or itchy, and I can see the hair growing back! I didn’t get a chance to use it on cannon crud or scratches this season, but will definitely use it when I do!

I think the lotion is great but pricey. I go through a lot of it pretty quick on my horse's legs for scratches scabs. The zinc oxide did not stay on his legs. I applied it and a few hours later checked and most if it had just fallen off. I don't know why it did not adhere well as ordinary zinc oxide stays on for days and softens the scabs too. The scabs were still dry and hard when this stuff crumbled off.

I have been using Equiderma Lotion for two years on my rescued grey Warmblood who has a circulatory condition that contributes to scratches. He is the Ding King with highly sensitive skin that cuts easily and reacts to products with strong chemicals. Because of his circulatory condition, scratches can be life-threatening for him, and he is on daily oral medication to prevent a flare-up of his circulatory condition. This has given me lots of opportunity to develop a protocol to keep him healthy and sound. Equiderma Lotion is gentle enough not to inflame his skin, but it dries the scratches scabs, enabling me to rub them off a day later with my finger. The lotion is messy to apply, but I experimented and discovered that it works well in a spray bottle! I would love to see the lotion in paste form, but spray works well. Three years ago, my boy was run loose at an auction and snatched up by a kill buyer. He was underweight and covered in scratches at the time. A rescue organization raised the funds to buy him from the kill buyer and gave him the care he needed. Thanks to Equiderma, my boy is enjoying his best life.
