“Purchased Equiderma Wound Ointment at a local feed store due to its natural and limited ingredients. The ointment was applied to wounds on my horses under carriage. The next day she was swollen and in pain in the areas the ointment was applied. Following swelling and hot spots was a chemical peel (burn). Another horse at the farm I board at also experienced a chemical burn caused by Equiderma lotion. I returned the ointment to the feed store and notified them of my experience. Not ever horse is created the same so others may have a better experience with this product. Unfortunately my horse is still healing from the chemical peel and itching like crazy.”
