“Good courses, easy to follow and learn. They need to be proof read though and maybe hire a voice actor to read them properly, as it can be hard to understand when robot voice reads it ð¤”
Hello Claire,
Thank you very much for the positive review!
We actually have the new course updated with a proper voice-over. The reason it is not on the website yet is because we are in the process of moving our servers.
If you wish to, because you will retain access for another year on this course, you can check back on the presentation in roughly a week and you will notice that it will be a far better presentation.
“I think the fire certification had an expiry date of 1971? And the title of the certificate was not in it so I had to go into each certificate of my staff and edit.
It would also be nice if the certificate to print printed out the same size as a business card. I had to do resizing to be able print them to have them fit in wallets. That wastes a lot of time needing to do this for each staff.
The email for the account is MY email, as such I was not able to use my email to take any courses so I had to use another one. That was a bit of a issue.
Also most certificates were only valid for 1 year? Most/many usually have a 3 year expiry so yes your price is good but not if we need to do it every year. Yes we do our own internal reviews yearly but a certificate that is taken, tested, paid for and issued should be valid for 3 years. This was our first time using your service and at this point I am unsure if we will continue. But I'm not opposed to continue to explore your options.
For enrollment it would be good if we just imputed a staff list ONCE, not for each certificate they need. Then we just use tick boxes to enroll specific staff in specific courses.
It would be good if we had an employer profile and when students completed a course, the name of the employer automatically populated on the individual certificate. I had to go in and PDF edit every certificate.
But the actual course was decent, covered the basics. There were some Ontario references (we are in Alberta)....Not sure which one...so need to make sure the course is correct for the Province of the student.
On the whole there is a lot of room for improvement in your service but it is good you seek feedback. Have a great day.”
Hello Laura,
Thank you very much for the feedback!
We are aware of the 1971 on the Fire Extinguisher expiration date. This seems to be a cookies problem and can be easily fixed by logging out of the account and going back in. We are going to address this issue very shortly, with our platform's next update.
Unfortunately, all the other aspects you mentioned are issues related to knowing how to use the system. We do have videos, gifs and text instructions and even an FAQ section in the user panel. At any point, if you followed these instructions or even called us for that matter, we would have assisted you in the process.
You can invite an individual into multiple courses without the need for a new account with each course. You can print the wallet cards in the proper size. You don't need to invite yourself, as an employer, using a different email; you can simply press Start Course next to the course name.
With that being said, we always listen to our customer's feedback so we truly appreciate it even if it has a negative view of our services because it gives us room to improve what we offer and we will try to communicate this "How_To" a lot better in our next version of the platform.
