It seemed to be mostly about theoretical safety, safety, safety issues, and no practical tips on how to run a machine with any skill and competence. Our company provides safety training courses, not operator training so it makes sense that the course content is developed with regards to the hazards specific to operating a forklift.
On top of that, we also offer operator evaluation checklists for the workplace-specific practical as well as pre-operation inspection templates. You probably missed that part.
