The recommended product amounts are only 'suggestions', as every skin is different this can vary from person to person i.e. if you have dryer skin you will find it generally absorbs quicker than someone with oily skin :)
Also bearing in mind this product isn't for moisturising, and is intended to be absorbed by the skin to work at a cellular level, so we do usually find less is more!
