“This is a great sunscreen and I love that it is hydrating while protecting. I love that it leaves my skin looking nice and dewy due to the carrot root oil. It does take a few mins to absorb into my skin and can leave my face with a bit of a white sheen. But it’s still my fav sunscreen to use”

I gave away the free bottle to my friend and am trying to finish the bottle I started - but it’ll take a while! If it had a different smell it would be 5 stars as I’m struggling to use it.”

I have only used it maybe 3 or 4 times as the smell is incredibly overwhelming, and not in a nice way. To the point where other people have commented when I’ve walked into the room.
I really want to love this product and have tried shaking the bottle really well, and using less of it as was suggested. However the smell lingers & personally I can’t handle that smell.
I definitely will not purchase this again and have a whole bottle that I’m currently trying to give away as I don’t want to waste it.

“I'm a huge fan of Esmi's skin treats and cleanser so thought I'd bring the sunscreen into the mix. Sadly I'm not a fan. The smell is odd but it does fade, however the main issue I have is that it's REALLY mattifying and makes my skin look really flat and dull. I prefer a dewy look. I'm sure this would be excellent for someone with oily skin but for dry or combination, not so much. I wont be repurchasing.”
“I wear this on no makeup days. Haven't tried it under or over any makeup as of yet. But on clean skin it feels absolutely amazing. Nothing like a sunscreen. It absorbs without feeling heavy or sticky and it honestly feels like a moisturizing skin treat. You definitely do have to reapply every two hours or when your face gets wet from water or sweat. Normally I never reapply as often as a bottle says and I'm totally fine but I burned the first time I wore this and didn't follow the instructions. Otherwise great product.”
“Good face sunscreen b/c it applies smoothly and soaks into the skin but the scent really turns me off. Yes sure after 20 or so minutes the smell fades a bit but there’s still that hint of what I can only think of is the carrot root. I will finish the bottle but may consider future options!”
