“I've heard nothing but amazing things about the Acaia Lunar. I see it being used in most reputable coffee shops and on online forums praised as the end game scale for coffee. I see why they say that and why it's used widely. It's sleek and it's size makes it easy to fit under the portafilter. That said, it's got more features than I need for a scale. The app attempts to attract users to connect with one another around it, which I find to be excessive. I also struggle with getting it to tare or turn off after my first attempt, sometimes it doesn't know how to interpret my tap of the button and by the second or third attempt it understands. Maybe that's only me and not the scale. That said, it's a solid piece of equipment, I get the hype. After using my 10 dollar scale from Amazon, it's taking me some getting used to.”
