“I ended up purchasing the EPHQ 14g basket to see if it would help to slow down my shots. This was an experiment to increase extraction for better flavor on some light roast coffee recently purchased. The basket I normally use is a VST 18g and while this basket works great for medium and med-dark roasted beans, it's just too fast for any light roast I've tried. I'd have to say this basket did the trick, allowing me to grind coarser and slow the flow at the same time. It will easily hold as much ground coffee as my VST 18g and it also works with my 58.5mm Force tamper. Now I get the fruit and chocolate notes from this coffee instead of just the sour ones! Excellent accessory to my espresso workspace!

“The 14g basket is more of an 18g dose basket as others have noted but that’s what I love about. You get so much value considering the price and my shots are coming out with less channeling thanks to it. Do yourself a favor and buy one.”

I expected a smaller basket, as this one is the same size as the double basket that came with my Profitec Pro 300 (if I don't put 18-20 grams, the basket looks too empty). It seems more a 18gr than a 14gr basket.”
