“It's just what I wanted only 2 hole instead of my ideal which was 1 hole. Maybe they don't make a one hole for a commercial espresso machine like my Fiorenzato Ducale Duo. But the part fit right on and it's much reduced flow makes smaller frothing amounts easier.”
“As the reviews say, this tip does fit on 10mm male threads on most steam wands. The holes point the steam outward, apart from each other, in a 45º angle, like the stock 2-hole tip on a Gaggia Classic Pro. I installed this on my 2001 Expobar Office Control.
I found the steam output to be a lot more restricted than stock (about half from my guess) which may help HX machines with low steam output keep a consistent flow of steam. Where this restriction may increase steaming time, it will also give the user time for the milk to swirl. I think this is a worthy option to purchase if you want to try something different on your steam wand!”
“Tip fits perfectly. Now I can make latte art, how cool is that?!
Note,
-I had a four hole tip, and that steamed milk in ten times the speed;
-So if you're not into latte art and need the steam to heat up super quickly think about the two hole vs the four hole tips;
-I now have a four hole tip on one side, and the two hole tip on the other side, best of both worlds.”
“Great micro foam!
Threads on the tip need to be deburred in order to thread easily. One wrap of Teflon tape helps the threads seal without a steam leak.”
“I recently bought this item with the corresponding steam wand (grimac) as proposed by espressoparts and the thread don't match well, impossible to thread it completly... I've manage to teflon tape to have a proper joint; but I think it shouldn't be that way.. especcialy if it's designed for the steam wand i ordered !
Hopefully: the microfoam is really amazing and super easy to get. (I just wish it would sit flush with the wand proposed.”
