“I have a Gaggia Baby and Rocky Rancilio at home. I find that using the "The Single" with 11-12g consistently gives me a good shot. My other single baskets, including a La Marzzoco, do not. As important, when I want a double, I use the standard double basket supplied by Gaggia with 18-20g without changing my grind setting from what works for the single shots. Not having to change the grind going between single and double is a real benefit as I only have one grinder and one espresso machine. I roast small (300g) batches with a Behmor 1600+ which last me four days.”
