Wood Portafilter Handle 12mm - Walnut - La Marzocco Style Wood Handle Reviews

3 Rating 5 Reviews
The handle fits well -- but was essentially unusable out of the box due to the rough, coarse-sanded wood. (It will honestly give you splinters). A few passes with some 320-grit sandpaper, and 2 coats of mineral oil, and it is now good-to-go. The price of this handle is a bit less than many other custom wood handles; so if you are willing to do some extra work to make it functional, then this is the one for you. However, if you want to nice, finished wood handle that you can immediately slap on to your portafilter, then I would look elsewhere.

Poor quality wood that was rough to the touch and the wood stain came off on my hands. Returned.

This handle fits my bottomless portafilter. It appears to be unfinished, very rough. I'll need to sand it and put some type of coating on it very soon.

I purchased this with the La Marzocco Factory Cut Bottomless Portafilter and it's a nice upgrade to our GS3. It was easy to switch out the plastic handle, just let the machine heat up with the portafilter locked in and use a rubber jar opener to twist the handle off. It looks great and feels solid. 10 out of 10! Killer customer service from the EP team too!

We used these to replace the stock handles on our 2 group Slayer (gen 2) and I'm really happy with them. They both feel great and look good. The color of the wood is slightly darker than what is shown in the picture, which I was actually happy with. Overall great product, and excellent customer service. Thanks Guys, -Andrew
