“If this part breaks you will be out of business with steaming. Espresso Parts has the best price I could find anywhere so I ordered two. I am now on my 2nd valve knob and 4th spring. My 1999 V1 Silvia gets daily use. When I put the new spring on the knob it was loose and the knob would not seat properly–kept falling off. At first I was reluctant to try and bend the spring as I was afraid I would break it and be back to square one. When I finally did bend it I was very gentle with a pair of pliers that would limit the pressure and distance. Now it works just as it should. I have found that with a good parts source like Espresso Parts I can fix any problem with Miss Silvia.”
