“I have 2 Rancilio Silvias, neither one a V3 (both older versions). I needed to get a replacement grate cause I somehow lost one :-( Anyway this grate fit one of the old Silvias, but rocked on the other one. I think it rocks because the base that it rests on is slightly larger on one of the older Silvias and it rocks on the left hand vents...in either case, much better than nothing.”
“I bought this for my 2003 V1 Silvia. It "does fit" however it rocks back and forth as the black tabs on the frame that it rests on are wider than the space between the holes/vents and the edge. I am looking for some adhesive rubber to place on the underside of the tray in order to get a more stable grate, but it is working much better than my missing tray was before! It's still quite usable.
This isn't really a fault of the tray as it's for the V3 version, just part of my continuing saga of finding good parts for the V1. :)”
