“The electrical contacts on my Sirai pressurestat were still in great shape but the dead band was close to 0.4 bars between switching on and off.
A super simple 15 min replacement of the membrane resulted in like new performance for a quarter of the price. Deadband after replacement ~0.2 bars.”
“I just added a Solid State Relay to my Appia, and the diaphragm was getting stiff (rapid cycling of the heater) and instead of dropping a hundred plus dollars on a new P-Stat that doesn't need to be so burly anymore, this really did the trick.
