“This is the second time I've serviced an E61 brewhead, on two different machines. I thought I'd try the kit so I wouldn't have to look up all the individual parts. Everything I needed was there but I did not use all the parts and it would have been significantly cheaper for me to just order what I needed. The rubber o-ring that fits on the base of the mushroom was the wrong size so I had to use the one that was originally on the group head and the copper ring washer for the top of the assembly did not work at all, so I used the previous teflon washer. I wish they had included a small packet of Dow 111 grease for the rubber gaskets, I had to go buy that separately. The rubber gaskets are really the main pieces I needed - they degrade alot and definitely need replacing every few years. The other parts I was able to clean using a descaling solution and use again.”
