“Love the unit. The alcohol burner takes a good long time to heat up, I grabbed 151 rum from my local liquor store, though denatured alcohol is ideal.
I recommend upgrading to the butane burner, it’s safer, it’s faster, and easier to use.
If you use room temp water it might take the alcohol burner 45minutes to heat up to temp, if you boil the water first it only takes 5 or so.”
