“I see that I’m far from alone in having had a battery delivered where much of the acid had leaked into the packaging materials. The vapour alone caused nasty stinging to my hands, arms and face. I gave up on the phone after 45 minutes, sent an email asking for an explanation/help (what am I supposed to do with the noxious packaging ?) but no reply. Sent a further email a week later but still no reply after another two weeks. I don’t think that Coronavirus can now be used as an excuse for such an absence of service. If they can manage to dispatch products I don’t really see why they can’t handle returns/exchanges of faulty products; particularly in cases where they have delivered harmful items.
