“I've got a couple of old cars, stored in a place without power, both have mechanical fuel pumps so it can take a while to get petrol in the carbs. This is less trouble than a battery and jump leads. The torch is pretty dim, your phone torch would certainly be brighter, I've only used the pump for motorcycle and bicycle tyres, worked fine.”
