“When I needed to upgrade from the T4 (another great wheel for what it is), I did some research for and price and specs were the main thing for me. I looked into Leeperkim but for what I wanted it would've almost doubled my price point and I wasn't in love with any of their wheels to pull the trigger on it. Looked at EB and wasn't liking what I saw there (but the Griffin was really interesting) and went back into looking at Begode wheels and I came across a few wheels that caught my eye. The final 3 were the Xway, Extreme and the Blitz. I loved the build quality of the extreme but as I change my own tires I didn't want to deal with another 16in wheel plus I was really interested in going tubeless. The X-Way and the Blitz were very similar but from the info I was getting was, riding the Blitz felt better and it had better tubeless options at the time. So I went with the Blitz, plus it had some customizable leds that I liked. I'm not saying this wheel had been perfect (in the beginning I had fender issues and one of the front blue lights stopped working) but it's been great, especially after I got the suspension to where I like it. I went through a few tires cause I wanted to test out the feel and wow tires really do change up how the ride feels. I would say for anyone going with the tube, the best ride feel out of all is the standard street tubed wheel(O yea this was another thing that annoyed me, I made the order through ewheels for the tubeless version but begode had overlooked that and sent me the tubed version), it is good on trails overall except on loose dirt or sand it is sketchy/non rideable. I ordered the TNT J-1218 knobby tubeless tire and wasn't a fan of how tippy that wheel felt but it's really good off road, so they're is that. I wanted to try a hybrid tie next do I ordered the 80/90-14 tire TNT J-2306 hybrid street tubeless and it's been great. It took a second to get a good a pressure but once I did this tire I'd the best overall one for me. What's weird was that the knobby felt amazing on my T4 probably because of the smaller size wheel. I've had my Blitz since March which is funny cause I bought my first onewheel in March of 2018, so there is something going on with that . Either way if you're thinking of the Blitz I'd say to get it, it's one of the few wheels that came from begode that was batch 1 and had no main issues. Also but from Ewheels.com, their customer service is top notch”
“Ewheels did an amazing job with the delivery, costumer service and all the support I needed as this was my first wheel. The given free pads and even wrist guards are great and very thoughtful. I personally still use the pads as they are great for beginners like myself.”
“After deciding to learn to ride an euc, I came to the conclusion that buying an entry level non suspension wheel would be monetarily wasteful in my situation. Realizing that I would likely out grow the wheel within a few months to a year. This got me thinking that a mid-level power level wheel would be the best start. Even tho the wheel was still around $3,000 I figured that by the time I learned to ride the wheel comfortably and confidently, and replacing the parts I'm likely to break in the process I'd still be ahead. Considering the same damage, if not more would happen to the cheaper wheel. In selecting the blitz instead of other comparatively priced wheels came down to my assumption that the blitz is going to for the most part replace the master in the begode lineup and pull a lot of new and old riders in with that. Hopefully assuring continued support from begode in further updating the platform. Also spurring aftermarket support through companies like grizzla, clark pads and others to make fairings and other pieces to improve the shortcomings of this wheel. I realize this is a v1 wheel and most likely a batch 1 of the run. I'm a person who can work on almost anything and am hoping that any subsequent versions I'll be able to retrofit improvements to this wheel. The wheel has been fantastic I clearly am the limiting factor in it's performance, and that's exactly what I was looking for when I was researching this wheel before purchase. I removed the limiting blocks on the suspension as soon as I unboxed the wheel and my journey began!! The service from the team at ewheels has been better than I could have ever imagined!! I've contacted them directly through email and their response time and answers have been excellent. I couldn't be more confident in my purchase from those company and will be making any future purchases though them. Thank you for your time”
“I'm loving how the Blitz rides, it is unbelievably smooth and powerful, when you lean hard on this wheel it feels like your being yanked forward by some unreal power. It's hard to describe the feeling.
As far as trail riding goes, it is an extremely comfortable and entertaining experience. This wheel can take any rock drop or steep downhill with ease and control, the suspension sounds so smooth and quiet when taking it off large drops. The stock street tire performs excellent on loose dirt and sand, id say almost as good as my old shinko 241. I got this wheel as an upgrade to a V11 and I don't think I could have made a better choice. Highly recommend the Blitz and highly recommend Ewheels for your electric unicycle needs.”
“160 lb. rider from nyc with 4 years euc experience, broadway bomb 1st place 2023. Owned the blitz for 2 months, I have about 800 miles on the odometer.
Very versatile, you have every option imaginable to adjust your blitz to the riding experience you desire.
Light enough to serve as an every day commuter option, yet fully capable in a drag race, or bombing down broadway in nyc, It's prepared to dodge obstacles like the good old lightwieght legacy wheels, this thing does not disappoint.
I took it to electrify expo racing league completion this weekend, my first time experiencing that type of event. I shortened the susspension travel, oriented the linkage to be in the stiffer position, tightened the compression, slowed down the rebound action a bit, and it was more than capable to keep up on their tracks. That weekend, I'd seen Brian Dillard hold some amazing leads on his Blitz, totally unreal what this wheel is capable of.
Obviously when it comes to range the Blitz has a lot of competition, but being able to charge at 20 amps (-2500w) really makes it a game changer.
The Blitz is the premium begode offering, to satisfy the needs of the enthusiast and professional riders. When comparing it to something like the xway, of which I had a chance to demo, the weight difference is a bit noticeable, for medium to lighter riders like myself, who dont require that low end torque to do extreem trail riding, and their typical riding doesnt require the extra 600wh, the Blitz is a better fit and feel, the top end torque and acceleration is very satisfying to experience. I have twice kissed 61.3mph, 83% pwm, dusting a master pro and just barely behind an ET Max.
Great wheel, begodes love letter to 134v, magnificent”
“Great wheel. It ticks all the boxes for me. Light weight, great design, stable, and FAST. This is my first big wheel having previously ridden the inmotion v12. The upgrade to suspension makes the ride feel like you're floating. The Blitz's adjustable suspension is amazing in that sense, because you have full control over how it interacts with the road (customizable dampening system). The street tire performs phenomenally. Great for cornering and the added benefit of it being tubeless reduces the fear of any premature flats. The 20 inch wheel along with the low center of gravity makes this the most stable ride I have experienced. The thing WANTS to be upright the faster you ride. Despite this being a C32 motor, the acceleration and torque are excellent. I have yet to overtorque or overlean on this wheel when accelerate from a stand still (I have actively tried, and I physically can't). I highly recommend getting the Powerknobz pads with this if you want full access to the power this wheel yields. The wheel itself is the best looking in the begode lineup. Side note: if you happen to not be a fan of the blue lights on the front of the wheel, there is no setting in the app that lets you turn them off. Having said this, you are able to just unplug them from the wheel (easy fix). I do wish begode gave more options in customizing the light patterns. The strip on the top has two options to choose from, a moving rainbow strip or a red one that indicates when you turn by flashing yellow on one side.
All in all this wheel is great if you are city rider that wants to keep up with faster traffic while feeling stable. Excellent performance all around.”
