Hi Michael, both of those wheels would achieve what you're looking for, though the Commander Pro 50S will have more range and a higher top speed. Given your riding weight, you'd probably want to go for 62lbs on the Lynx.

First, a big thank you goes out to Jason and Bruce for helping me with the purchase and set-up of with this wheel. I am definitely happy with my decision and the customer service I received. I have over 1k miles on this wheel so far and I absolutely love the way it handles and I found the ride feel quite comfortable. It is a bit of a heavy wheel and you will notice this initially if you're coming from a small lighter wheel as I was in the VT12 HT. But, you quickly get acclimated to it and the weight becomes a stabilizing force especially at higher speeds. I was initially concerned about the C40 motor being a bit challenging for sharp turning. However, the weight distribution throughout this wheel seems to be more conducive to agility and nimbleness. In contrast, other wheels of similar size and motor are reportedly difficult at turning sharply without add-ons. I wouldn't consider myself a deep carver but, with this wheel, craving or "dancing" comes so naturally. The stock street tire it came with is perfect and I see no reason to switch. The braking is solid and the suspension along with the wheel size makes it an extremely comfortable ride once dialed in. Also, I found the bluetooth speakers to be a nice surprise and loud enough for a wheel and sound coming from below. Now, I do have a few gripes and I'll briefly explain what they are here. For one, the dashboard is useless. Its too small and seems a bit antiquated in comparison to other wheels on the market. Secondly, the headlights and backlights are basic at best so, I would still use flashlights and other aftermarket lights for night riding. Finally, my last gripe would be the voltage. From my understanding, others may have a similar issue and it may or may not be anything. But, I only seem to get 133.5-.7 volts on full charge? Not sure the significance of this but, my slight of case ocd wants 134.4V that it says on the charger.

Hi Dave, glad to hear you're enjoying the wheel! That's good feedback, however that is a normal max charge voltage. Manufacturers have begun limiting max charge beneath 4.2V per cell for a slight drop in range in exchange for a not-insignificant increase in battery lifespan. Since the battery discharge curve is non-linear especially near max voltage, very little range is lost with this approach.
