Begode Nikola+ 1,451Wh Molicel/2,000W Motor, 3" Wide Tire Reviews

Thank you EWheels team for providing all the information I needed (and my God what a whirlwind of questions I had about all sorts of wheels. My choices ranged from MasterPro, EX30s, OG Commander, Masters, S22s, CommanderMinis, down to the S16 (& I asked about almost every one of them) and alas, I chose the Nikola+! Alittle late (bout 4 years) to the Nikola party with all it's variations. My initial impressions coming from a V11 reflect my thoughts from my recent adventures on my old 16S! That is Suspension is nice but Do I REALLY need it? The Nikola further delves to that point with it's 3" tire and tank of a build. The wheel feels so solid beneath me. It's comfort is comparable to the V11 even without sus. It's handle design isn't great. Tried trolleying it while it was off one time and it rolled on it's face a few times. Managing the wheel while it's off just sucks haha. Turning isn't great.. yet. Not the greatest battery. Not the greatest speed. Again, no suspension. But man, what a great ride!!! It fast charges, Molicel packs, 40mph, 70lbs, under $2k solid solid body, with some of the best LEDs with the voltmeter, and did I mention it's only 70lbs!?! I just recently moved into an upstairs apartment (15 horrid steps) and I'm sure any newer wheel would be dreadful! So with that, I'd say this wheel is definitely worth buying, today, in 2024. 5th wheel from EWheels. Very satisfied. -KS14D-KS16S-KS18XL-INMOTIONV11- !!! Gotway/Begode Nikola+ !!!

Hi Vinh, wheels like the Nikola provide a feeling of connection to the road and rider control that suspension wheels can struggle to match. Glad to hear you're enjoying the wheel, and thanks for choosing eWheels! Support from riders like you allows us to keep doing what we're doing :)

Bought this wheel like maybe year ago and I've put almost 10k miles on it. Easily my favorite wheel, and I don't exactly baby my wheels. Even with the falls and dings I've caused it, I still love it. Jason's warranty support, advice and plentiful parts in stock is why this place is the best.

The nikola with the p42a batteries is a game changer, especially for heavier riders. I'm only writing a review to highlight the expert level customer service Jason provides. In my case, my nikola basically disappeared from the fedex truck but it showed as "delivered." As you can imagine, after buying a new wheel this is a very frustrating situation. Jason handled prompt (and transparent) communication with fedex, kept me updated and assured the situation was being handled. In short, I had a new wheel in 3 weeks. That kind of customer service is priceless and with Jason's crazy workload I was impressed by his ability to prioritize and handle my situation in a timely manner.

Great intermediate wheel, not so much of a good beginner wheel which was my mistake when I got this, especially being a light rider (140lbs) with a heavy wheel that's 60lbs. It took me about 3 months to learn to ride back and forth and turning without getting off. I also broke the shell of the wheel within a week since I jumped off and ran it straight into a wall. Many months later, I've gotten better at riding and can commute to work within 25 minutes. It's not stable in high winds which is common where I live, especially when you want to cruise at speeds 20mph+, you run the risk of getting crosswind/turbulence to make you fall. Buying the upgraded CNC pedals helped with the studs, plus the inward pitch helped by a lot to provide more stability/control; with the stock pedals, it was very common that I would have to catch my self at high speeds which is pretty scary and sometimes ended up in me falling. Likewise, if you're a heavier set person, the wheel is most likely going to be more stable, I tend to carry about ~30lbs with all my gear on including a bag making it overall around ~170lbs and while riding it feels easier to manipulate the wheel and less floaty. Most controlling issues of the wheel can attribute to my low weight range. The range of the wheel is pretty good, I would commute about 16 miles back and forth twice (32 miles total) without charging. I don't get any range anxiety but you do tend to feel a power dip once you reach the low 60% range of the battery; this could be more problematic with high wind areas since the wheels offers less power to help you feel moving forwards to stay stable. I haven't gone below 30% on this wheel so I can't say much about super low battery levels. It can handle light rain, I don't enjoy putting it in wet roads since water resistance still feels like a new concept to me, but it can handle a little rain really well from what I've seen despite my discomfort. There was a mishap in shipping and it took a little longer than expected for my wheel to arrive but the customer service made up for all of that. Overall, a good intermediate wheel, it's getting a little outdated from the new stuff that's coming out so I'd take a peek at that stuff too!

I am in Canada and belong to an end group in Vancouver.I have bought wheels from ewheels before and the customer service is beyond excellent.I recieved this wheel in 4 days which is the fastest shipment so far.I tried to calibrate the wheel before unlocking it which resulted in an error.i contacted customer service and they sent me info I needed. I contacted them in the morning again at 4Am...and got a message back right away...I was shocked...4am not many people are up...that's dedication..lol..I managed to get the error problem solved after work and am still in awe of the 4 am return message...quite impressive...the price and quality of this wheel is incredible..much skinnier and more comfortable than the bigger gotway wheels...This was the right choice for me and it's my 6th wheel.pedals are big.angle of the pedals is spot on and I don't need any sidepads.its like a bigger faster version of my inmotion v10. I was going to get the kingsong ks16x but heard the shell is fragile and I am an offroader.kudos to Jason and his team for a great service to the e.u.c family. This is why I only deal with ewheels..not many companies would message you back at 4amin the morning. Thanks again to Jason and the team.
