The kingsong 16xs is the fast as fuck and incredibly durable. I crashed it(my fault) going 24mph and it was completely fine

The ks16xs is my first euc, and I absolutely love it. It has been a pleasure to learn to ride and I usually go around 20 miles on rides and 6 miles round trip to work. I do think I will be selling my ebike for a suspension wheel eventually. I'm hooked. I may install a second battery, but I can still get 30 miles without getting too limited. It is a very good value wheel.

It was easy to learn, came exactly as described, and was easy to unlock. Tried balancing the first day!

I chose the 16xs. This is an excellent wheel to get you going if you want something affordable that has a lot of flexibility and power. It's perfect for commuting shorter distances. It charges relatively quickly so it's helpful to throw the charger in a backpack to juice up in the middle of longer trips. I wouldn't recommend this wheel if you want to go fast. It's most comfortable around 18-20 mph even though I've ridden it safely to 25 mph.

This review is for eWheels.com and the Kingsong 16X. I was not able to choose the Kingsong 16x product for the review so I chose the 16X seat, hoping others will still see this. The wheel: The Kingsong 16X is my first EUC and I bought it with no experience riding one. I originally reserved an InMotion V11 but I have very little patience so I contacted eWheels to see about switching to another wheel. They recommended the Kingsong 16X as it has similar specs, although it does not have suspension. My impatient self pulled the trigger and I believe I bought the perfect starter wheel considering my starting budget is in range of the 16X. I have zero issues with the wheel other than not having enough time to ride as much as I'd like. For what it's worth to any new rider reading this: It took me a solid 140 hours to 'figure it out' and be able to keep my balance, confidently. eWheels: They were responsive to my inquiries and not only answered my questions but they also provided alternatives to those answers in case they weren't what I was looking for. Anticipating customer needs like this is some top-tier customer service and I truly appreciate it as a new rider of EUCs. It speaks volumes to the character of a company when they offer their experience and knowledge instead of only offering items for sale. This is how you build loyalty! Building trust with an online retailer can be a little scary when spending this kind of money. eWheels' responsiveness and attention to detail have certainly won my trust. Additionally, I came back to this site to purchase some footpads for my new wheel. I noticed there is a statement indicating if you are an existing customer, when purchasing the footpads (not sure if this extends to all purchases), I would not be charged for shipping. Bonus! When I paid, I noticed that I WAS charged for shipping. Being an excited new EUC rider, I didn't really care. I assumed this was a past promotion that was not updated on the site. To my surprise, once I was billed and checked my online statements, I noticed that eWheels refunded the shipping charge which reinforced that attention to detail and trust I mentioned above. I think this is a top notch company and I my two experiences have been wonderful. I'm sure there are other things on this site that I need so I'll eventually be back and I know that once I return to buy something else, that experience will also be wonderful. Thanks, eWheels, for supporting the trust and confidence I needed, and wanted, to make a purchase of this size.

I got the 16Xs as my first wheel. It is pretty fun to ride and to learn on. Because my 12 year old and me were having such a blast we wanted to get a second wheel. For that one I got the 18XL. Choosing between the two, as a 6'4" 220lb, I would definitely go with the 18XL. Nothing wrong with the 16Xs, just the bigger size is a lot more comfortable for me. The 18XL has a little bit less acceleration, but the tradeoff is worth it. Also, the bigger battery is key. As it turns out, my 85lb son on the 16Xs battery (which is half the size of the 18XL) gets around the same range. So all is all, I'm happy with what I ended up with, but if I was going to just get one, I'd get the 18XL.
