What a great little wheel- perfect for traveling with or just toying around town. Any smaller and I feel like the wheel becomes a novelty or loses light/sound etc. Already it is tougher for long legs because it is short & 14 inch tires still feels safe. 3 months on this wheel so far. Only gripe is the 18/MPH limit which is a nice safety feature- but would be better if you could ride it without the beep and they just save the tilt back for over power/lean.

I'm still learning on it. I started with the KS16X which for me, was too hard to learn on. I have limited time and energy to practice and needed a smaller unit to learn on. The 14S will also be more welcome on the city trails and paths where I live if anyone's paying attention. I'll gladly be keeping it. Who wouldn't want 2 anyway? The pedals are lower and the power less than the 16X and those things are helping me progress faster. I can also ride it in the house with a few easy furniture moves - just for the learning phase. I chose the S over the D version for the extended battery life. I do like the features you've already read about. Mostly I like that it's easier and lighter than the 16X but still full of pep. I'm likely to use this wheel more than the other for the next few months or longer. I got the quick charger and protective cover too. Glad I did. The charger gives you the ability to charge at 80 or 90% as well as 100. It's recommended to charge mostly at those lower options. Two King Songs. After much reading and video watching, I developed a thing for King Song. Safety, the strong handle, large pedals, LEDs and headlights (alternating front to back headlight on this unit), seat option for the future, and all-around flexibility of the two units I've chosen. I'll ride both on and off-road. Thanks for reading.

They say if you can learn on a smaller wheel, it's easier to ride one of the big boys. I didnt want to spend $2-4000 if I couldn't or didnt like to ride EUC. I'm sure the XL footpads help with mounting. I opted for the bigger battery so I don't lose speed as voltage drops so fast. It's great fun in a very compact package and probably the best wheel for last mile commuting due to its 30 lb. weight. When you get to your destination, park it on its side & let the music jam on the decent built-in speakers. I love hopping on the 14S on my day off to unwind & head to the park. It's great fun on the paved trails & has some off-road capability, provided the ground isnt loose substrate or rutted from cars. At a minimal, you want wrist guards for this wheel. Thankfully, eWheels knew this and included a pair. (I recommend asking sizing from customers.) If you're riding in the road or off-road, throw some knee pads & a helmet on. I love this wheel. It is a little mule. Motor is torque-y enough for some start/stop grooving and hard acceleration. It can handle around 30° inclines, provided the traction is there. The King Song 14 series is definitely a well rounded beginner/commuter wheel that is guaranteed to have people staring and smiling!

It is really small, easy to pick up although I wouldn't want to cary it far because you can use the trolly handle, and goes a reasonable speed so you wont die if you fall off. Me and a few friends learned on this, it took a beating and came out fine. Big bumps in the dirt are a little scary and curbs on the pavement still give me a hard time, but I've only had it 3 days. If I could start over I would have gotten a bigger wheel, I wasn't sure I would like it, but it's awesome.

I don't like the app that has to be downloaded. That was about step 2 or this process and had to be done so I felt like I was being strongarmed. I couldn't turn on my wheel without giving King Song access to my photos, email, etc.

Arrived without issue, very happy with purchase. First timer, so I felt this model would be a good fit. Learning slowly, bruised calves, but I have faith lol. I am very happy too add myself to the ever growing euc commmunity.

The wheel is very smooth, and the new larger pedals are a really nice touch. Their non-slip surface is the best I've come across and they make me feel cery confident that my feet will not slip off the wheel under any conditions. The only bad point would be the "new" side pads. I like the older side pads - they have more padding where it's needed most and the upper padding edge is more "rounded" so as to place less pressure on the side of my shin during mounting and dismounting. The new pads have a sharp upper edge that digs into my shin like a dull knife and after a few mounts/dismounts make my shin begin to REALLY HURT. I have version 2.00 firmware in my wheel, and when I disable the bluetooth speaker, the wheel will announce "Blah-tooth is off" everytime I power up my wheel. This is a little annoying and I would prefer it if the wheel would NOT announce this everytime I power up.
