Ewheels: Prompt fulfillment and fast delivery. I screwed up on my order and expected to eat an extra $20 in shipping for accessories due to my own mistake and Ewheels caught it and refunded the difference without me having to say anything. There was an error on their end in shipping and they fixed it immediately. Y'all are a pleasure to order from. 6/5 stars. The Lynx, good: It's so powerful. I've accelerated as hard as I can up steep hills and it just goes. The suspension is superb. The slick tire is great. It looks awesome. It's light enough I can lift it into my pickup without blowing out my back. The trolley handle is great. The display and buttons on top rule. IEC rating for the battery packs makes this one of the few wheels that does what I feel should be the bare minimum for PEVs with high capacity batteries. The Bad: I find the pedal lowering brackets improve the feel so much that it's a mystery why Leaperkim can't just make it adjustable out of the box. The headlight is so-so. Brake lights aren't as bright as I'd like, but are otherwise nice (turn signals are an unnecessary gimmick). The app is pretty bad, and adjusting settings through long-press/short-press on the wheel itself is annoying. There's no kill switch. While the pedals aren't terrible, it's silly that they can't match Begode's stock pedals, or bettery yet, use the long-standing solution from mountain bike pedals of allen key removable studs. The high center of gravity makes it feel unstable at speed doing certain things. It's never wobbled so hard that I've been close to crashing, but it never feels great. I've found that light acceleration and braking tend to bring out the wobbles, and the solution is oddly to just be more aggressive with your inputs. The tolerances on this wheel are kind of weird: I noticed when installing the seat that putting the bolts back into the front handle was tough due to the fit of the parts, which were a struggle to line up in a way that the bolts wouldn't want to cross thread. They also use that pre-applied thread locker instead of properly applied Loctite. All the other brands do this too, but it should be called out since it feels lazy and can lead to issues down the road for riders that don't check the hardware. Overall: The Lynx does a ton of things right, and the bad things are mostly minor annoyances.

I'm at 3000k street miles and can say any talk of it being unstable to the point of being uncontrollable is people not having enough experience or just used to heavier wheels. I ride locked in at the toe and can carve hard and fast back and forth between two lanes at 50 mph I don't consider myself an expert but I'm really comfortable on this wheel now, it was squirrely in the beginning so I got the lowering bracket but I like the maneuverability at standard height and I feel stable enough to be safe now. I Ride hard and fast I break fast I take turns and corners hard this wheel is so much fun when you learn to master it, I'm running a Michelin pilot Street 2 with 8 onces of flat-out sealant so that might help handling. Overall I love the wheel I just wish they would unlock the free wheel speed I'd be comfortable with another 10 mph top speed, the wheel speed is 4 mph over GPS, I've been up to 55 mph GPS and it's plenty stable in a straight line at that speed. I do have to get low and grab the handle when braking hard to avoid wobbles, the key is to drop down fast and low. Anyone that says this doesn't brake hard just isn't doing it right. The weight maneuverability and power makes it perfect as a city racer in traffic.

Hi John, thanks for the review and riding tips, the lowering brackets certainly help with stability at speed. Sounds like you're really squeezing all the performance out of the wheel, which is awesome! Stay safe and enjoy the ride :)

The Lynx is by far the best EUC made as of now its rock solid quick great range and very well put together, now mix in eWeels a dap or Jason a sprinkle of Albert and just a pinch of Nick, and its a perfect recipe. Don't wait order yours today you can thank me later. PS if Batman rode an EUC he would ride a Lynx from eWheels.
