I wasn't a huge fan of the first-gen Patton. The original knobby tire was a linear-grid arrangement which would yank you into certain leaning angles. The weight was similar to the Lynx despite the smaller tire and battery size, the design was a little crude and blocky, the linear suspension was shorter and easy to bottom out... it felt a little bit like a prototype. This Patton S has fixed all of those issues! They shaved 10% of the weight, but while riding feels more like 30% lighter (and compared to the Lynx S which gained 3lbs feels like a solid distinction). The new choice of knoby tire is excellent and confident on street and offroad, without the preferential lean issue. The new progressive springs make it cushy when riding casual but also softens out hard blows when jumping and being more aggressive. The refined design actually looks like an intentional product with elegant lines and intentionality, rather than just a shop-project. Overall, it took a wheel that I previously wanted to love in principal but couldn't in practise, and turned it into a whole new beast. It's wonderfully nimble, light, torquey, and confidence inspiring on any surface. The only thing I could ask for would be better battery chemsitry someday giving us double the range on a wheel this size.

No complaints. Solid build, works well. You'll want to buy adhesive velcro to add, as the provided velcro isn't enough for good power pad placement. Got the 70 lb config for suspension as I'm 200 lbs and streets are much smoother than my non-suspension wheel. The manual isn't as detailed as I'd like but between help from the EUC forum on Discord and YouTube, I got it figured out.
