“I was hesitant about whether to order the street tire or the knobby. After putting a couple hundred of miles on it, I’m really glad I went with the knobby. I can’t compare directly with a street tire, but I know that the knobby gives me the needed confidence off road, and, compared to my Inmotion V14, it’s relatively quiet on road. This is a great wheel! I recommend it for anyone who wants range, speed, power and overall versatility in an EUC.”
“I just hit 60 miles on my Sherman L.
It's much bigger (heavier and taller)than my previous wheel, the Sherman Max.
It's taking some time to adapt to having suspension but I love it! So much fun to be able to drop off a curb and have no worries about renting the rim. I got the 66 lb spring and the 244 clone tire. The tire is great. Low gyro effect, which I like, but it's taken a while to get used to it. The spiked pedals are nice and solid feeling. Although the spikes could be more pointy. I'll try to fix that with a file.
The pads that came with the wheel are good enough to get you started, and the included Velcro is cut to fit the wheel.
And the trolley handle is very sturdy. Took me a while to find the release latch (a little paddle under the front pivot point). I still need to experiment with the rebound and compression adjustments, but it seems fine out of the box.”
“All I can say is: What a machine!
Upgrading from an Inmotion V12, this is everything I wanted and more.
*Tons of power, more than I can use (A+ safety margin)
*Very cushy suspension. It eats rough terrain and poor quality roads like nothing else
*Range is incredible. I put ~40mi on the first night and it was only at 80%. I'll definitely take it on long rides and really stretch it's legs, but range is not a concern for anything but absolute marathons.
*Build quality is fantastic
*Despite being 54% heavier than what I was used to riding, I adjusted quickly. It's incredibly nimble and stable considering the weight.
*Hopping on and off of curbs is hilariously easy, and anything smaller than that gets absorbed by the ample suspension travel. Coming from a non-suspension wheel to this is night and day.
*Included accessories were a nice touch and included everything you need to start riding (and then some!)
*Ewheels reached out right away with a good quick start guide and pre-ride checklist. I really appreciated that.
I think my only minor complaint is a tendency for the pedals to lift or dip a bit on turns, but I believe that's a quick fix by running the firmware update and then re-calibrating it. I'm just including this note in case anyone else has the same problem.
As they say, the only downside is the price. This is definitely one of the best EUCs on the market right now and I think it's going to convert a whole lot of miles into smiles.”
“This is an incredible machine shout out to Jason and nice for there time answered every question I had and any issues again thanks for the proma seat wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a wheel this was my 2nd also would post a pic just don't know how lol”
“Veteran Sherman-L, 4,000Wh Battery/3,200W Motor (8KW Peak) 70lb / Street Tire
The Sherman-L has exceeded my expectations! I have 360 miles on it, and I love every ride. They really nailed it with this wheel. Its center of gravity is low, so it carries the extra batter weight really well, making the wheel nimble and very stable. The motor is powerful, and I can squeeze out incredible performance with soft pedals. I'm looking forward to playing with the acceleration assist, but not sure I need it. The street tire is terrific. Super stable at speed on the road and surprisingly stable on hard-pack trails. The range has been great. I use about 30% batter riding 38 miles with some high-speed sections. I'm certain I can get 80 miles out of the battery, but maybe more if I'm not riding over 30 mph. The build quality is top-notch. Highly recommended!”
“Fantastique wheel i received my Sherman L on october 2, 2024 I wanted to enjoy more before leaving a review. Mine is actually a 70lb instead of the 66lb i am 65kg (body weight) I love it like that instead of being too soft(most will be okay with 66lb or less with my weight)
The wheel ride well and juste à beauty finish of a build. When I see it I say woaw this is sorry the Price compared to the competition. It is expensive but this is quality, no need to have mental breakdown it juste work unless it is a issue from factory. I love the pédales feel some don’t but coming from OG Sherman it is same feel
Plenty miles to cover
A very fantastique thank you to the ewheels team i was able to get all my question answer, i am a happy Customer”
“I came from an Inmotion v13 (which I still love for its stability) and rode it exclusively for about a year. When I first tried the Sherman L, it initially felt like a smaller wheel, but I quickly got used to it. Now, it's an absolute beast—truly a range king! I'm getting almost double the range compare to my v13.
I did have an issue with the warning/beep speaker going out in the second week, but fortunately, a spare speaker was included in the box, and after replacing it, I've had no further problems. I've put over 2k miles on it so far; the only maintenance needed was tightening the motor bolts, which had loosened slightly. Apart from that, the Sherman L has been rock solid—no wobbles, no crashes, just smooth riding.
Overall, it's an excellent wheel with great speed and range, and eWheels' support has been fantastic.
Highly recommended!”
“First of all ewheels is spectacular!
As for the wheel… I’m a rider that rides the backcountry of the rocky mtns. This wheel with the knobby tire is incredible. I’m running about 18-20 psi and no complaints yet. The battery, motor and suspension is what attracted me to the Sherman L. I haven’t had any over heating issues climbing and the downhill is smooth. The size does take a few rides to get used to. The construction and durability is top notch. This wheel has been going end for end downhill through rocks and trees several times with no serious damage. Over all it’s worth the $.”
