Veteran Sherman-L, 4,000Wh Battery/3,200W Motor (8KW Peak) 70lb / Street [TNT J-2306] Reviews

5 Rating 5 Reviews
The Veteran Sherman-L is an absolute beast — a 4,000Wh, 3,200W rocket that eats miles for breakfast. Paired with the TNT J-2306 street tire, this thing feels locked-in, smooth, and ready for whatever you throw at it. Power, range, comfort… it’s all top-tier. And honestly, nobody does it better than eWheels. Jason and the team consistently deliver the fastest shipping, the best QC, and the most rider-focused support in the game. If you’re buying a flagship wheel, eWheels is the only place you want behind you. They stand by their riders, they know every spec inside out, and they’ve set the standard for how EUC support should be done. Bottom line: The Sherman-L is a monster — and getting one from Jason at eWheels takes the whole experience to another level.

Coming from a Lynx I am not disappointed I ride all Streets and was worried the weight would be a hindrance maneuvering in City traffic but I feel as confident as the Lynx and much more stable. I was surprised that the top speed is 5 mph faster than the Lynx. Riding 53+ mph wheel speed at 215 lbs I get about 35 to 40 miles range to 15-20% battery or double that of the Lynx. Very slow speed maneuverability might be an issue on technical trails but it seems superior to the Lynx in every other way.

Definitely a learning curve but fabulous high speed commuting wheel. Came from an Extreme bull HS from before suspension was common. This wheel is 20lb heavier but feels far more maneuverable and smaller than my previous wheel. Be careful on keeping speed down because I never even realized I broke 46mph one of the first few times I was on the road because of the ease of response in this wheel. The lack of ease when accessing the charging port is really the only complaint.

Everyone who gets a new EUC says, "This is the best EUC I have ever ridden," but the Sherman L is truly fantastic. Its 3,600Wh battery offers an exceptional range of as much as 100 miles for my weight and riding style. This is the perfect wheel for long-distance rides without stopping and recharging. The 3,000W motor (8KW peak) provides powerful torque and high speeds. You can accelerate when moving at 30mph with stability even at speeds around 50 mph. I don't go much faster than that. It is built for durability with a rugged chassis like the Sherman S, a heavy, solid, purpose-built machine. The large 20" wheel and excellent suspension deliver a smooth, comfortable ride, making it a standout for experienced EUC riders. This wheel is the best mix of the Sherman S and the Lynx. As Roger suggested, I also went with the road tire, which performs well on most terrain and is fast on pavement.
