“The sample of the composite louver style shutter seemed very sturdy and well built. It's a lot heavier than the old wooden shutters we are replacing and hopefully will last longer without splitting. Seems like it would. The only small negative is that the louvers are a little rough, compared to the nicely smooth framework, but I don't think it will be noticed.”
“The shutters are very nice, looks just like wood, I did not want wood because of the maintenance. I intended to get vinyl but they ae limited in width size. I need 22in and 18 is the widest in the vinyl. I was choosing vinyl because of lighter weight. I am consulting with the installer to see if weight would be a problem.
