“These shutters are expensive JUNK!! They are made out of a flimsy plastic that's only clipped together that bends and twists. The only reason we ordered from this company is because of custom sizing and custom color. This company should be ashamed to manufacture and most importantly SELL such a product. Buyer beware! Had I seen the option to attach a picture/video, I would have. Unfortunately, they were installed as they are not returnable! I would NOT recommend this product!”
“I’m very pleased with the quality of the shutters and the custom color. The options for size, color and style are excellent. The mounting system is terrible. Drilling 5/16” holes in the shutters and then trying to mark the center of those holes on my vinyl siding was a pain in the neck. Then drilling 5/16” holes in my house that had to be deep enough for the mounting spikes (so they wouldn’t bottom out) was frustrating (not knowing what’s behind the siding) and seemed much too invasive. A simple wood screw with a decorative head and long enough to clear the shutter frame and penetrate the sheathing would have been more than adequate, simpler to center and much less invasive while only piercing the sheathing and nothing else. If I hadn’t started by following the directions (which committed me to the 5/16” holes) I’d have installed them differently. I like product - please reconsider the mounting system.”
