Because I was traveling to Rome with my 3 kids (ages 8, 12, and 14) I did a ton of research in advance to plan tours that would keep their interest. Eyes of Rome was our saving grace! We did 3 tours with this company: a Vatican Scavenger hunt, Ancient Rome, and the Catacombs & St Clemente. For the catacombs we decided to add the Capuchin Crypt, because what kid doesn’t want to see lots of bones? It was a HUGE hit, and our kids still talk about this tour weeks after we’ve returned home. Getting out of the hot Roman sun for a few hours was a big bonus too. If you’re looking for a fun and informative family tour, then look no further!

Everyone tells you that Rome is like a giant lasagna, but you don’t really understand it until you take a tour of Rome’s underground sites. We had the good fortune of getting Marco as our guide, and his archaeology background and passion for early Christian history made this one of the most engaging tours I’ve ever been on. Top marks for Marco and Eyes of Rome!

Very interesting tour! Unfortunately, I don't really like confined spaces, but a friend of mine highly recommended the visit of San Clemente. Luckily our guide Paola was very patient and comprehensive.

We discovered Eyes of Rome by searching on the internet, never expected to be THIS good! We were 4 people in Rome for the first time, the thing we immediately appreciated was the hotel pick-up with our guide Serena, she made it an absolute breeze as the transfer was our biggest concern. Discovering this unique area with her definitely made the difference; she made the tour enjoyable for us all, being informative but not overwhelming. We'll definitely come back!

We had the pleasure to spend the day with our wonderful guide Marta. She met us directly at our hotel, which was very convenient and showed us the amazing hidden world underneath the city of Rome. My daughters think that this was one of their top experiences while in Rome. Marta was able to keep my 7 and 9 year old daughters fully engaged the entire time and her enthusiasm and knowledge exceeded by far any other guided tour we have taken so far. I will recommend Marta and Eyes of Rome to all my friends and family.

We are a family of three (with a 9 years old son) travelling to Italy and spending a week in Rome. Some dear friends recommended Eyes of Rome and we are really glad for this advice. We would not have had the same experience by ourselves or with a larger tour group. Our son was so curious about this site and, after three days of tours with different top guides, we were worried that the experience could be unsatisfying for him. Unexpectedly, our guide Azzurra was far beyond any expectations!!! She was charming, knowledgeable, good humored and immediately engaged the attention of my son with her good manners and grace. She made the morning not only enriching but delightful. She toured us through the mysteries of S. Clemente. It is amazing to think about all the stuff beneath your feet!!!! My son was completely enchanted by the history of this church and mostly by the Catacombs where he was really speechless. Azzurra really made the difference. Thanks Azzurra and thanks once more Eyes of Rome!!!
