Great tour for an off the beaten path excursion. Not recommended in the summer afternoon as we did as it tends to get too hot. The guide still did a wonderful job!

Ask for Katie! She is professional and enthusiastic, and pointed out details on this tour that many of the locals probably don’t even know about. When she found out that we’re fans of Raphael, Katie whisked us right over to the Villa Farnesina in Trastevere to enjoy some of his lesser-known paintings in Rome. When we visited the Jewish Ghetto, she explained the evolution of the neighborhood so well that we felt like no stone was left unturned—literally! A tour we will never forget.

As we were traveling with my elderly parents, I was worried about the amount of walking involved with this tour. The Eyes of Rome team addressed my concerns immediately, and assured me that our guide would be accommodating. When Azzurra picked us up at our hotel, she talked over the itinerary with us and adjusted it to our needs. In the end an extra taxi ride was all it took to save my parents from overexerting themselves, and weeks after our trip around Italy they still talk about how much they enjoyed their tour with Azzurra. Grazie Azzurra, we never would’ve been able to see this part of Rome without you!

This was my 2nd visit to Rome and I was looking for a tour that would help me dig in deeper to the city’s history and get away from the ‘main attractions’. Eyes of Rome didn’t disappoint—the booking process was straightforward and our guide Elisa was an absolute delight. I will be booking more tours with this company in the future!

Fabulous tour and an incredibly interesting itinerary off the beaten track!! Francesco, our crazy guide :) was just amazing. He made our day. We had so much fun and he made everything so interesting! Thanks also to Eyes of Rome, they suggested this tour according to our preferences. It was not our first time in Rome, and we thought we've seen everything...nothing could be more wrong!

This was the first Walking Tour I did with my husband and I'm really happy with the choice I made! Our tour guide Sara was great, nice and delightful, she was so passionate about the history and she showed us the most hidden corners and the real heart of Rome. The Jewish Ghetto was fascinating and we were captured by the unique atmosphere of Trastevere, a beautiful and picturesque part of Rome. Sara also recommended a lot of nice places to visit in Trastevere! The Eyes of Rome customer service was great, couldn't have asked for better!
