“I was torn between booking the Early Morning Vatican tour and this Hidden Gems tour, but when I brought up the options with my teenage boys they immediately shot down the 7am start time! We settled on Hidden Gems in the afternoon and couldn’t have had a better experience. Our guide Marco really knew how to keep the boys engaged, and they got a kick out of visiting rooms that most other visitors never get to see. We were literally whisked out of the crowded halls into empty rooms! We had no idea there were so many ancient statues in the Vatican museums, which was perfect because my boys are more into ancient history than Renaissnce pantings. The Hidden Gems tour included access to sections of the Museums that are generally closed to the public. It's amazing to leave the crowds behind and have just for yourself an entire room of the Vatican, unbelievable!!! plus, Elisa was outstanding and engaging throughout. Not an easy task when you have a 14 year old tagging along, but our daughter was thoroughly enthralled!
