“A lovely Christmas alternative main. Generous for 4 Excellent tender and flavourful fillet of beef. Personally would prefer all butter puff pastry and no palm oil.”

“Beef was not melting in the mouth and pastry was too thick that it was not crispy as I was expected. Not the best tasting wellington unfortunately.”

“Not great. The meat had a peculiar taste, really quite unpleasant. The pastry didn’t seem to crisp up much, maybe an egg wash prior to cooking would help. A huge shame as this was our Christmas Eve centrepiece. When carving it just fell apart into mush, this is not down to my knives either, I have Ioshen and keep them razor sharp! However I must say, this is the only miss from Farmison, the rest of the meat we have ordered has been superb.”
