“Great for fermenting foods. We purchased these to test the ph of the foods we are fermenting. They seem to work just as other strips we have used before. It comes in a hard plastic case which is nice for storage to ensure the strips stay dry. Would purchase again.”
“Fermentaholics helped me get my kombucha show on the road! I started brewing in February '22. Everything I learned came from internet sites and YouTube videos. These folks have great products. I also purchased a SCOBY/Starter tea.”
“Works as claimed to Bought to check the acidity of store bought vinegar that I purchased last year for making pickels. Last year upon purchasing white vinegar from my local store and mixing up my brine I could tell something was not as it should be, the vinegar did not smell strong and my refrigerator dills did not have that same vinegar taste. I saved one unopened jug of vinegar so I could test with the ph strips and low and behold those strips confirmed that the vinegar had a ph coming in at a 3.5 to 4 and not at a 2 or 2.5. So glad I invested in this so I can check the ph on vinegar that I purchase from now on.”
“They work. The pH strips come in a clear plastic container to keep them dry. I bought them to test the pH of my many different kinds of shampoo as I read it is best if they have a pH between 3.5 and 4.5 They all were falling within that range so I thought the strips didn't work. Then I went and tested one on vinegar and it registered a very different pH so I felt reassured they were working. I can't believe all my shampoos were within the recommended pH.I also plan to use them to test the level of my beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) exfoliant to see if it is in the recommended range to be effective and my alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) too.”
