“I was really excited and loved the idea of this. My first straw had a problem when the pipecleaner broke and they sent me a new one no problem so that was great. But I find now that the straw is very hard to dry after cleaning/gets sticky even with proper cleaning/is generally not super easy to use (liquid getting in between the silicone liner and the straw). I wish I had waited and researched other options first.”

So sorry to hear about your sticky situation. If you drink sticky drinks, it's best to clean the straw as soon as you can, and at least one a month place it in the dishwasher in a "V" formation.
If you haven't already, try sterilizing your FinalStraw in boiling water with a little bit of baking soda.
